Hillsborough Reforned Church partners once a month with SHIP to offer lunch to the food insecure in our area. SHIP distributes hot meals and bagged lunches to their clients 5 days a week. We will be serving our first picnic lunch of the summer to the guests of SHIP on Thursday, June 12. The picnic is served outside in an area known as Tik-Tock's Grove directly behind SHIP in Somerville. We are expecting to feed approximately 70 people. You can help by donating, prepping or cooking food, transporting and serving the meal and providing fellowship for the guests.
We ask that all donated items be delivered to Memorial Hall by 5pm Wednesday June 11. Please clearly mark your donations for "SHIP". NOTE THERE WILL BE NO PREP ON WEDNESDAY JUNE 11!!!! We will prep the food at 10am in Memorial Hall on Thursday June 12, load the cars and head to SHIP to serve lunch from 12-1pm. Please park in the lot next door to SHIP. Thank you!
