From the Pastor

Pastor Our pastor began his service with The Hillsborough Reformed Church at Millstone in August of 2003. Rev. Fred Mueller was educated at Hope College and New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He has served congregations in Jersey City, upstate New York and Long Island. Among Fred's passions in the ministry are Bible study, biblical preaching and spiritual development of church members. Living with him in the parsonage are his wife, Barbara, a case management nurse, daughter, Elizabeth, and daughter, Rebekah, when she is home from Bowdoin College. A grown son, Matthew, lives in North Carolina.

With the consistory (our governing body of elders and deacons), Fred is committed to leading our church to grow in faith and service as together we celebrate God's love and grow in Jesus Christ. Fred teaches the church that members have three major tasks:

To worship God

To reach out with Christ

To grow all things in discipleship

The leadership shares the vision of our church being an open and welcoming community of faith witnessing to Jesus Christ with love.
