TREASURES & TALENTS AUCTION
Reserve Friday night, February 10, 2012 on your calendar !!!
On that night, the Capital Fund Committee is sponsoring an auction in Memorial Hall to (1) raise money for the capital fund campaign, (2) foster congregational fellowship, (3) encourage church members to showcase their talents and (4) to have an enjoyable time together !
Entitled "TREASURES & TALENTS", the event will consist of a special buffet dinner followed by an auction of "treasures" (items such as hand-crafted scarves, desserts, vacation home rentals) and "talents" (dinner creations, aerobics instruction, taxi service, yard clean-up, computer upgrades). A catalog of items for sale will be available at least two weeks before the event.
Tickets will be sold for the dinner which will begin at 7 PM. The auction will follow. Purchases will be paid for with cash or checks made out to the church. All proceeds will go the Capital Fund campaign.
So, now's the time to start making or searching for the right treasure or talent to sell. Forms will be distributed in early December on which to fully describe the items you plan to donate for sale.
