Bible Studies

Bible studies provide an opportunity to join in fellowship to study God’s Word. Groups meet at times that work with different schedules and cover a variety of topics from the Bible.

The Adult Bible Study takes place on Sundays at 8:30 am. The group is now reading The Open Table which introduces people to the person and deity of Christ in a new and refreshing way and everyone is invited to the table.

At the heart of the Christian story-the story at the heart of The Open Table – is this basic idea: "God shows up in the lives of people who search for Him." We invite you to join us and discuss some of life's greatest questions.

Tour of the Bible

Tour of the Bible is led by Pastor Fred Mueller. The Tuesday evening tour will resume meeting in September. They typically meet from 7:00 to 8:00pm on the first, fourth and fifth Tuesdays of the month.

Coming in January the whole church will be involved in the Year of the Bible. We will continue to update this spot with more details as they become available.

Ladies’ Bible Study

Our Ladies’ Bible Study meets twice monthly, usually on the second and fourth Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30. The format consists of opening with prayer, including any prayer concerns that members of the group may have, followed by our lesson for that day. The setting is informal and all participate willingly. We rotate leading the sessions; however, you will never be forced into leading if you are uncomfortable in doing so. Studies are chosen by the group and vary from Christian book studies to Bible studies to studies specifically developed for Christian women. Whatever is shared in prayer or in discussions is always kept confidentially within the group.

All women are welcome to join the group and no previous Bible study knowledge is necessary. Come experience our meaningful discussions, our fellowship with one another, our laughter and our sorrows as we each travel on our path of faith in Christ together.

New studies begin each September, but you may join us at any time during the year. Please contact our church office at (908) 359-3391 or e-mail reverendmueller@hillsboroughreformedchurch.org.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
